A production of Peter's drama, THE FIRE IN THE WOOD, about Big Sur sculptor Edmund Kara, is to take place in California in May and June 2018, whilst Peter is a writer-in-residence there for a ninth time.

Produced and directed by Carmel’s Carey Crockett, the drama will open at the Henry Miller Library, Big Sur, on 19^th May and then move on to the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, in Carmel, for a two weekend run of six performances: June 1^st  2^nd , & 3^rd and June 8^th , 9^th  & 10^th .

The Carl Cherry performances will coincide with an exhibition of some of Edmund Kara’s sculptures at the Center.
